TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking you are confirming that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
1. Once a date to book is offered, this must be confirmed within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in the date being booked by another customer. The booking is not confirmed until an initial 50% deposit has been made. The remaining balance can be paid at any time thereafter including in cash on the party date. Full refunds will only be made up to 14 days before the party date. Less than 14 days before a party date a booking can only be rescheduled, not refunded, and must take place within 6 months of the original booking date. TechTruck takes no responsibility for rebooking. If a new party date is not requested within 6 months, the booking will be rendered invalid.
2. In the event of late arrival we will continue the session for the agreed period of time and your party will not be cut short. In the unlikely event we have to cancel your party due to major technical failure on board, mechanical breakdown or force majeure (severe weather or any other circumstances beyond our control), a full refund will be offered or an alternative date arranged.
3. All children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
4. All parties are subject to availability.
5. The TechTruck measures 7m x 2m and requires a space this size. (subject to parking restrictions). It is your responsibility to make sure there is adequate room for the TechTruck to park on the day of the party. No refund will be offered if a party cannot go ahead due to insufficient space or parking restrictions.
6. All parking must comply with local regulations and TechTruck admits no responsibility for any penalties received for parking in a space designated by the client. TechTruck reserves the right to pursue recompense for any penalties we may receive as a result of occupying a space assigned by the client. TechTruck reserves the right to refuse to occupy any space we believe to be breaking parking regulations, trespassing, or which would compromise the safety of TechTruck, it’s staff, party guests or members of the public.
7. TechTruck requires the use of a 240v power socket within 40 metres of where the TechTruck will be parked. We will require confirmation of approximate distance between your power point and parking space when booking is confirmed.
8. The outside screen can only be used in dry weather conditions. This includes the awning, which can only be used on a calm day. The awning cannot be used if there are any winds.
9. In accordance with recent changes to the law, Techtruck must by law only provide games that are age-appropriate according to the PEGI ratings classification. For more information on PEGI ratings please visit www.pegi.co.uk.
10. In the event of damage to our equipment or vehicle that is caused by excessively harsh treatment or vandalism and that is deemed intentional we reserve the right to charge to you ‘the client’ the full amount to repair or replace the equipment. Any damages must be reported to a member of staff immediately.
11. No food or drinks are to be consumed whilst inside the TechTruck. For your safety and the safety of our staff, CCTV may be used within the TechTruck. We will not tolerate bad language, aggressive or threatening behaviour to our staff or other participants. We reserve the right to remove any person who is found to be uncooperative or a danger to the safety of others, our staff or equipment at any time. We reserve the right to end the session immediately if we see fit. In this event no refund will be given.
12. CCTV maybe used as evidence of criminal activity.
